Scott's KR Log

The beginning

I borrowed a trailer from a friend at church and talked my dad into going with me to pick up a boat.  Alan Moat and his family were kind enough to help us load the boat he sold me onto the trailer.  It took
a good couple of hours to get it all loaded and it made for a long day with the traveling and loading, but it was worth it to finally have a start on my dream.
All the foam was a bonus I wasn't aware of until we got there and started loading.   A bunch of the spare parts.
It came with a lot of extra parts, so it took a while to unload. Inspecting for damage after getting it off the trailer. (There wasn't any)
My backyard is fenced in and my gates are only 4 feet wide.  I needed 7+ feet. so I took the fence apart and dragged the boat through my neighbors yard.  I'm glad the person who built the fence used screws.
Again, the 7 foot spars were going to be a challenge to get them in the 6 foot wide doors. We made it, but the landing gear had to come off.  Not a big deal since Alan had it setup
for tri-gear and I want it to be tailwheel.
